Are you exhausted yet? Ready to get away from school? Need some time to be renewed? If yes, then you'll love the Fall Retreat at Camp Tejas. For a weekend in the beautiful hill country of central Texas, we'll spend some time pursuing renewed souls for God and renewed relationships with each other. Our large group sessions will center on habits that we can learn that increase the intimacy of our relationships with God and each other. In addition, we'll experience some transformative, passionate worship in music. Oh, and we'll have a whole lot of fun, too! Camp Tejas has a bunch of stuff in that department, like a zip line, swimming pool, canoeing lake, mud pit (heh heh heh), among other things.
Our retreat leader for the weekend is Matt Rose. Matt has served twice as a small group leader for Disciple Now at Westbury, as well as having been the guest retreat leader for the Senior Retreat this past summer. He is currently pursuing his M.Div. at New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary and serves as the youth minister and worship leader of a church in Slidell, Louisiana.
The worship leader for the weekend is Aaron Harp. Aaron has been gifted amazingly in the area of music and can play a variety of instruments. He is currently in the final year of a Master of Music in Vocal Performance degree from the University of North Texas. Aaron is married to Chelsea, and the two expect their first child this upcoming Winter. This will be Aaron's first time serving for a Branch Youth Ministry event.
